Jeannette Maré, Ben’s Bells founder and Chief Kindness Officer, is a passionate public speaker who will inspire your audience to practice kindness as a way of life.
Using humor and storytelling, Jeannette will share her experiences with kindness in the face of devastating grief, as well as her transformative work with Ben’s Bells. Jeannette has been studying and teaching kindness for over two decades. In that time, she has done a lot of listening, observing, and learning and has developed a range of ideas and practices to help us increase kindness in our lives at home, school, work, and throughout our community. She will discuss the robust body of research on the science of kindness and how she is contributing to that research as a PhD student at the University of Arizona. Presentations are appropriate for a variety of settings – educational, corporate, non-profit, etc. – and for any age. Jeannette’s talks are always customized to your needs and may focus on kindness and grief, change, leadership, and communication.
Jeannette is available for virtual speaking engagements! Motivate your workplace, school, organization, or group to keep kindness active during uncertain times and give them the tools to adapt to change. For information on school assemblies, click HERE.

“I asked Jeannette Maré to give the opening plenary speech at our Western Group on Educational Affairs (WGEA) conference hosted by the University of Arizona College of Medicine Tucson campus. The result was an outstanding and heartfelt presentation that amazed the audience of over 200 medical educators. I would recommend Jeannette to speak at any group function where an infusion of kindness is merited.”

“I’ve been in public service for over 25 years and can honestly say that I have never seen a room of firefighters as laser-focused and engaged as during Jeannette’s presentation. We’re optimistic that our communication internally and externally will continue to become deeper and richer and that we’ll continue improving our culture of kindness. We couldn’t have started without Jeannette.”

“Jeannette’s message is important for all people regardless of age, profession, or economic status. You will be doing your organization a HUGE favor by hosting her to speak. I asked her to speak at a tech conference and she nailed it. I would go so far to say that her message should be mandatory for all.”
“Jeannette’s engaging presentation brought excitement to our teachers and K- 5 students – our students think she’s a superstar! The all-school assembly helped them understand the power of Kindness and that sometimes it takes practice and courage. We are proud to be part of the Ben’s Bells family and proud to be Courageous Kind Coyotes.”
“Last night when I tucked my daughter into bed, I asked her what she thought of the Ben’s Bells assembly she attended. She answered, “She inspired me.” As a parent and educator, I believe inspiration is one of the greatest gifts we can give to another person. Inspiration is the seed of hope. Thank you for inspiring so many of us!”
