What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity.

Why invest in Ben’s Bells?

Ben’s Bells teaches individuals and communities about the positive impacts of intentional kindness and inspires people to practice kindness as a way of life. Our programs are based on the belief that everyone has the capacity to be kind and that kindness can be cultivated through education, visual reminders, and ongoing practice.

Double the Impact!

This Giving Tuesday, your generosity can have double the impact! Every dollar you give will be matched—up to $2,850 by the Ben’s Bells Board—doubling your power to spread kindness. Join us today to create a kinder tomorrow!

An Inspiring Find 💚

I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I had called my sister to tell her about my diagnosis and treatment plan, which was a difficult and unanticipated call. Afterwards I puttered around the house and decided that a quick trip to the grocery store would clear my head. I pulled into the parking space and saw something bright green in the tree. I walked over to see what it might be, and was delighted to find a Ben’s Bell! I have always wanted to find one. I felt incredibly happy that on this particular day I found this kindness keepsake. I don’t know who put it there, but I do know that their act of kindness lightened my load and continues to do so each time I look out my kitchen window at the beautiful Bell. After my treatment, I plan on volunteering for Ben’s Bells to pass on the kindness and hope that was so beautifully shared with me. Thank you so much.

A Reminder To Be Kind To Myself ⭐️

I found the Bell hanging on a palm plant and at first I was confused. Should I take it? Should I not take it? Would the guy from “What Would You Do?” come out? But then I realized it wasn’t a trick. I realized it’s meaningful to have this to show kindness to my community and myself. As someone with severe anxiety and depression, it’s hard to be kind to myself some days. I think this Bell will remind me to be kinder to myself when I hear it ring.

 Remember Kindness throughout the year🔔

I feel so lucky to have found this Bell! When my daughter was born, she spent four months and four days in the NICU at Banner Diamond Children’s. When she was discharged we took a picture with her in front of the Be Kind mosaic wall at Banner UMC. Our daughter continues to be extremely medically complex and at 8 years old has lived longer than any of the neonatologists predicted! Last month she had a huge scoliosis surgery and spent more time at Diamond Children’s recovering in the PICU. She is getting stronger every day. I feel like finding the Bell was a sign to remember the importance of kindness throughout the year!

Kindness, Pass It On🤩

A co-worker and I were emptying trash at a dumpster and I saw this colorful item hanging on the fence. I didn’t know what it was, but he did. He knew all about Ben’s Bells and told me about what they do. He was happy for me and I was happy as I felt like I’d found a real gift, a treasure. I’ve been extremely down and depressed recently, and feel we all can use some kindness now more than ever. Kindness, pass it on.

Kindness in Georgia 💗

One of our longtime supporters helped hang Bells in a community recently impacted by grief. Her connection to Ben’s Bells started when she found a Bell as her own family was experiencing loss. She now wanted to continue the mission by bringing kindness to others. Her family and friends traveled four hours away to hang Bells and bring reminders of kindness to a grieving community in Georgia. Thank you for being a kind leader, Meghan!
