Ben’s Bells teaches individuals and communities about the importance of intentional kindness and encourages them to make kindness a way of life. Learn more about their humble beginnings at BensBells.org/Founder

The summer and early fall are usually low donation periods for most non-profits. At the same time, the start of the school year is a particularly costly time for Ben’s Bells staff as they roll out their Kind Campus Program at many schools in Tucson as well as some in other states. This fundraising project will provide additional funds for Ben’s Bells during this critical time as schools begin their Kind Campus Programs and the Ben’s Bells staff provide assistance to schools.

Supplementary operating funds are needed through the end of mid-November.  Your donation will help spread kindness from our schools to our communities.

The Kindness Initiative kicked off at The Highlands in March 2018. Our Vision is that The Highlands is known as “The Kind Community of Southern Arizona”!
Our objective is to increase the enjoyment, health and sense of community of residents of The Highlands by:

• Raising awareness of kindness in The Highlands community
• Fostering acts of kindness
• Recognizing kind activities at the Highlands
• Offering opportunities for residents to participate in kind activities

The Initiative functions through a monthly email newsletter and three main events:

• The Kindness Newsletter emailed monthly to subscribers
• The Kindness Fair in the Fall: “Meet Me at the Fair” held every two years 
• An annual sing-along in the Spring: “Music on the Mountain, A Celebration of Kindness at The Highlands”
• The Kindness Speaker Series throughout the year
