Science and Culture Advisory Council
The Ben’s Bells Science and Culture Advisory Council (SCAC) ensures that sound scientific knowledge and thoughtful intercultural awareness support all Ben’s Bells educational programming. Members of the SCAC help develop, make recommendations for, and review educational programming; monitor program effectiveness; advise on outreach and education; and create and oversee a research portfolio for Ben’s Bells.
The SCAC is comprised of leaders in research and community development who have made substantial contributions to advancing the science of kindness and implementing kindness practices in our diverse communities. SCAC members are committed to furthering Ben’s Bells mission through rigorous, critical appraisal of its programming. The SCAC is a working group that offers guidance (versus governance) and insight minus legal liability and statutory responsibility.
