Letter from the Board

The Board of Ben’s Bells is thrilled to usher in a new era of leadership—one that prioritizes community engagement as the foundation of our mission. The strength of our organization has always come from the dedication and generosity of those who believe in the power of kindness. Your involvement makes our work possible, and together, we continue to create a more compassionate community.

As part of our commitment to long-term sustainability, we are excited to introduce a Co-Executive Leadership model—an intentional step toward strengthening our organization’s future. After serving as Interim Directors for the past several months, we are proud to officially welcome two remarkable leaders from within our team: Katie Kevershan and Autumn Rentmeester. Together, they bring a combined 34 years of experience, demonstrated dedication to our mission, and a shared vision for growth and impact.

Autumn Rentmeester brings 24 years of expertise in fundraising and leadership, while Katie Kevershan contributes 10 years of operational management and culture development experience. Their complementary strengths, combined with a deep-rooted commitment to Ben’s Bells’ mission, will not only sustain but elevate our work in the community.

As Co-Executive Directors, Autumn and Katie will strategically enhance both fundraising and operational practices to ensure the organization’s long-term success. Their deep knowledge of Ben’s Bells—our mission, programs, staff, and supporters—positions them uniquely to guide us into this exciting new chapter.

This leadership team is committed to expanding community engagement, diversifying funding sources, refining our programming, and strengthening public awareness of how kindness shapes and benefits our community. We look forward to working together alongside you: our volunteers, educators, and supporters, to continue to create a kinder, more connected community.

Please join us in celebrating and welcoming Katie and Autumn to their new roles!

With gratitude,
The Ben’s Bells Board
