Kind Campus Kick-Off
Saturday, August 26th 9:00AM – 11:30AM
CATALYST Creative Collective in the Tucson Mall · 4500 N. Oracle Rd.
Join us for The Importance of Modeling Kindness, where we’ll kick-off Kind Campus activities for the 2023-24 school year and talk about strategies for building an enthusiastic and engaged kind campus!
Recognizing the role that both educators and students play in creating kind environments, we’ll be focusing on the importance of modeling kindness and empowering student role models, influencing behaviors that ripple throughout school campuses. Based on current research around the importance of school culture and building social-emotional skills, Kind Campus empowers administrators, staff, teachers, students, and their families to create safe and engaging school communities.
This year our kick-off will be held at the CATALYST Creative Collective! Join us as we explore evidence-based strategies for using Kind Campus, introduce new materials for the year, and prepare educators to infuse kindness throughout their schools. You’ll meet our education team and hear from our Founder, Jeannette Maré, in her role as a kindness researcher, as well as students who led kind initiatives at their schools. We’ll also hear from fellow educators who are using the program!
We’re grateful for the work that you do for our students, schools, communities, and families. Together we are changing our culture. Please join us in this exciting community space!
